I work in a demanding job as a CEO of a largish community health organization and I am the single parent of a young adult with some significant mental health and developmental challenges. These two things were starting to creep into all of my time and once my most recent relationship ended I found myself struggling to find time for my life, for the fun and entertaining things that would engage me. I am embarking on a project to “date myself” (in French – je me fréquente) and document my adventures in romancing myself. There might be a few other tidbits of self-reflection along the way.
